How to Turn Android Into a Speedometer 5 Steps with Pictures

Since Android has both GPS and a tool inside it for measuring motion, it can be used to tell your approximate current speed. You can turn your Android into a speedometer with an app from the app store.
STEPS

1
SEARCH FOR "SPEEDOMETER" IN THE PLAY STORE APP.

2
SELECT A FREE ONE FROM THE LIST, SUCH AS "ULYSSE SPEEDOMETER."

3
INSTALL AND OPEN ULYSSE FROM THE INSTALLATION SCREEN. You can also check out additional screenshots of the app in action, and a full list of features on this screen.

4
WAIT FOR THE GPS TO LOAD ON YOUR SPEEDOMETER APP. You can now look at the meter at the top to see what your current speed is.

5
HIT THE MENU BUTTON AND SELECT "PREFERENCES" TO CHANGE ANY OF THE APPS SETTINGS. You can also select "trip meters" to see your stats from previous trips.
TIPS
The preferences screen allows you to change the units if youre in a non-US country.
WARNINGS
The Android speedometer is unlikely to be exact, so its not a replacement for the one in your car.
